How I made a community gardening group

Every year my neighbourhood has a giant outdoor festival to celebrate the largest vegetable grown that year. It started with three raised beds and a borrowed wheelbarrow. The hardest part wasn't the planting — it was the logistics for garden supplies and getting people to commit to a watering schedule. We solved it with a shared calendar and a 'garden buddy' system so no plot was ever orphaned.
